Gran Paradiso Summer School "Fundamental Processes in Earth System Dynamics" 2024 - The Future of Critical Zone

The Gran Paradiso Summer School will take place from 21-28 June 2024 in the Municipality of Valsavarenche, Italy, under the theme " Fundamental Processes in Earth System Dynamics - The Future of Critical Zone ".

The course directors will be Timothy White (Pennsylvania State University, USA) and Antonello Provenzale (CNR IGG, Pisa, Italy) and Simona Gennaro (CNR IGG, Pisa, Italy) will be the scientific secretary. Among the teachers and presenters at the course will be various Italian and international experts: Suzanne Anderson (University of Colorado), Emma Aronson (University Riverside of California), Carl Beierkuhnlein (University of Bayreuth), Sharon Billings (University of Kansas), Ashlee Dere (University of Nebraska-Omaha), River Huang (National Taiwan University), Philippe Le Coent (BRGM of Montpellier), Nikolaos Nikolaidis (Technical University of Crete), Antonello Provenzale (CNR-IGG), Timothy White (Pennsylvania State University), Edyta Wozniak (CBK PAN, Poland), Adam Wymore (University of New Hampshire).
